Welcome to the Department
A centuries-old institution at the top of the world, dedicated to every Christmas wish ever whispered, written or dreamed.
Our Story
For generations, the North Pole Department of Wishes has received letters, dreams and Christmas wishes from children around the world. Founded in 1823, the Department began as a single wooden sorting desk and has grown into a vast institution spanning mountains, forests and frozen seas.
The Department's Mission
Our mission is simple: to make sure every wish finds its way. We believe a more magical tomorrow begins with a wish — and that a kinder world is always in season. Every letter is read. Every wish is filed. Every child is remembered.
The North Pole
The North Pole is a real place — a sprawling village of Victorian stone buildings nestled among snowy mountains and evergreen forests, lit by gas-style lanterns and warmed by great fireplaces. The aurora borealis dances overhead and the reindeer train just beyond the trees.
Santa's Office
Santa Claus, Head of the Department, reads the day's mail each evening from a great leather chair beside the fire. Mrs Claus keeps the kettle warm. The elves sort and file. And somewhere in the corridors, a clock chimes the hour.
